About
Roots
Each present moment is a summation of every prior moment. So let me begin. I was commissioned as an officer in the Navy from the U. S. Naval Academy in 2014. I went on to earn the Wings of Gold as a Navy Pilot in 2016, flying the EP-3E Aries II over two deployments. My Navy career culminated in circumnavigating the globe aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln in 2021.
Over those years, I changed dramatically. I am one of those people that isn’t able to dabble in many things. I have a few passions that consume much of my time — rock climbing, harassing Nico and my partner, Vanessa, and sussing out dark roasts.
I have climbed across the country, from the ancient mountains of North Carolina to the barren landscapes of Alaska. But where do I shine and why would you entrust me to your development as a climber?
How It’s Going
Currently, I split my time between the American Southwest and Lake Tahoe, California — and everywhere in between. The rock climbing between the sandstone of Red Rock Canyon, granite playground that is Joshua Tree, unparalleled alpine rock of the Sierra Nevada, and world-class cragging around Lake Tahoe make for a lifetime’s worth of climbing and skill-development.
As climbing becomes more popular, young climbers require mentorship that just isn’t there. Sign up for a package with me, and you will not only have access to my experience but also to my mentorship that will follow you long after you’ve stopped paying for courses.
