Southern California
Joshua Tree National Park
Joshua Tree is the premier winter destination for rock climbing in America. This playground of rock hosts an indefinite amount of slabs and cracks, great for learning and developing traditional climbing skills.
Tahquitz & Suicide Rock
Idyllwild is the premier mulitpitch climbing destination in Southern California. At 8,000 feet above sea level, this is a great spot for climbers looking to break into alpine rock climbing or wanting to experience immaculate granite. We can climb amazing single pitch cracks or embark upon 8 pitch journeys to the summit of Tahquitz Rock — and anything in between.
At Tahquitz and Suicide Rock, I operate through Vertical Adventures, the only climbing guide service permitted to operate in Idyllwild.
Red Rocks, Nevada
This is it. This is the sandstone version of Yosemite. You’ve been wanting to climb 2,000 feet of sandstone face, crack, and chimney and spend the evening hours at a world-class restaurant? Perhaps you’re looking for single pitch sport climbing. Red Rocks has something for everyone.
I offer professional guiding services in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area as an employee of Jackson Hole Mountain Guides under a permit issued by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
