Okay, So Something Has Gone Wrong
Self-rescue doesn’t always mean responding to some sort of catastrophic event that has led to you or your climbing partner becoming injured. We will cover skills related specifically to an rescuing an injured leader, but we will also discuss and practice skills and techniques to get ourselves out of all of the little problems that we weren’t anticipating that can happen during a day climbing. This course specifically relates to the single pitch setting, meaning that we often have gravity to help us out and are in simple striking distance of the ground.
